In the packed 'Cantina', Paignton, Lee Howgate launched his campaign to become your next MP for Torbay.
Members from across Torbay joined Lee as he launched his campaign, with speeches from the former Torbay MP Adrian Sanders and Totnes Liberal Democrat constituency candidate Sarah Wollaston. Lee's speech highlighted how his deep roots in the community, his experience as a foreign office diplomat and his job as a teacher at a local school position him as the best candidate to be the next MP and in the best position to oust the incumbent.
Plenty of people were volunteering to get behind Lee's campaign with many offering to do clerical work like writing envelopes or to pound the streets, either delivering leaflets or canvass with Lee. You can help too, with a wide range of jobs that need doing your skills could be put to use to help us win Torbay, please just click on the volunteer button in the top task bar and input your details.
Many posters were also distributed to members and supporters to turn Torbay orange in support of Lee. To display a poster or stake-board to show your support please contact your local LibDem team!
