EU Referendum - The Final Week's Activities

We are now just a week away from the EU referendum on June 23rd and here in Torbay we can be proud that we have been leading the way for the Remain campaign.

But with a week to go, there is so much we can do. Can you can spare an hour, two hours, maybe more, whatever time you have available to help with the campaign?

Below are the roles in broad categories. All are welcome to take part.


Polling Agents

Required at the ERICC from 9:45pm 23rd

till approx. 4:00am 24th  to monitor and tally the counting process.


If you can help, please get into contact with me immediately or by  11.00am Thursday 16th  latest  name and address required for registration with the council.

Able to knock on doors to remind people to vote

Ringing up and reminding people to vote from a list provided. Use your own phone or phone from Belgrave Road.

Polling Station Activity





We will mount highly visible presence (T shirts banners, all denominations) at the key polling stations across the bay (7.00am till 9:00pm) Ideally 2 -4 hour stints. No services are available and often no cover.


There are opportunities to leaflet on every day till the vote .

From Monday 20th reminders can be delivered.

An ‘anytime activity’  pick up from Belgrave Rd or ring me.

Telephone Bank

Calling can be done  from your home at any time till polling day. To encourage voters to vote Remain. Contact Ollie Wells
